The Nuke Fancast - Today at Noon ET

1 Tune in today at Noon ET/9am PT for the premiere episode of "The Nuke Fancast" on BlogTalk Radio.

Time To Vote For Your Favorite InTurn

Sixteen episodes of INTURN have come and gone and the three finalists have now aired on AS THE WORLD TURNS. Voting to choose which finalist will receive a 13-week contract role on ATWT began on Thursday, June 5th at 5:00 P.M. ET and closes on Sunday June 8th at 8 P.M. ET. Before you cast you vote, here is a rundown of how each contestant faired. 1 Nell Mooney, a 30 year old ballroom dancer/actor from Washington, D.C., had a lot of shining moments this season. She wasn't always the best but she was never near the worst either. Her kiss with Audra during the screen test audition was a highlight along with her scene with Michael Park where she played the role of Carly. On her ATWT day, she played Livia, a tough NYPD cop. Out of the three finalists, she had the best script to work with and she ran with it. She was convincing and solid and fit right in on the show. 1 Justin Smith, the 27 year old from Orlando, was probably the most consistent contestant throughout the show this year. His shining moment came during the Elements audition when he was the only contestant who followed direction and incorporated the elements into his scene. On his ATWT day, he played the "real" Ben Coyle, a man from the State Department who was a contact of Lucinda. He played a cop fairly well but I wasn't overly impressed by anything he did during the episode. As Simon Cowell would say, it was forgettable. 1 Michael Derek, a 26 year old waiter from East Brunswick, NJ, got off to a slow start. On the first day he made his famous "it's a toe" remark during the giving birth in the park audition. He came across as incredibly cocky in the beginning and his ego seemed a lot bigger than his level of acting ability. But something happened along the way. Another side to Michael came out, his acting improved as he listened to the notes he was given and he became someone I was rooting for to be in the top three. Out of the three finalists, Michael was given the least amount to work with on his ATWT day, both in dialogue and clothes. His character, Sailor Sam, was a take off of the famous Times Square Naked Cowboy. Michael did all he could with the role but other than showing off his body, he didn't get a chance to shine. Going into the three ATWT appearances, I gave the edge to Justin but after seeing them on the actual show, I am leaning towards Nell.

Evening News

New faces on HOLLYOAKS Hunky Ravi (Stephen Uppal) has already appeared on the soap, while his arty sister Leila (Lena Caur) will join him later this month. Ravi quickly establishes himself as a cheeky chappie with an eye for the ladies. And although Nancy (Jessica Fox) isn't keen on him (she even suspects him of trying to abduct baby Charlie!), Ravi sees the tension as sexual. Stephen said: "Ravi certainly makes an impression when he arrives at Hollyoaks. His cocky attitude gets him a job as doorman at The Loft and he certainly wins over resident bad-boy, Warren, with his cheek. There’s chemistry between Ravi and Nancy, but if Nancy likes him, she’ll have to get her skates on before man-eater Mercedes beats her to it!" BLOG UPDATE: ALL MY CHILDREN star Cady McClain "We had a great time at Prohibition last night and what a turn out! WOW! Thank you to all who came to support the music. We will be playing again next WEDNESDAY JUNE 11th at 8pm for 1 hour set at CRASH MANSION." PHOTOS: From the red carpet of Warner Home Video's salute to Clint Eastwood Current and former soap stars in attendance included Vincent Irizarry, Donna Mills and Matthew Borlenghi. All Hail La Strasser: She’s the “Alexis of Daytime” — Again! Marlena De Lacroix writes: "About 1984 or so, when the primetime world was at the height of DYNASTY-mania, all the daytime soaps were hustling to introduce characters, all costumed in big-brimmed hats, who were supposed to be the "Alexis of Daytime." Elizabeth Hubbard, new as Lucinda on AS THE WORLD TURNS, was supposed to be the Alexis of Daytime. Marj Dusay, who played Myrna Clegg on CAPITOL, was supposed to be the Alexis of Daytime. Judith McConnell, Augusta Lockridge on SANTA BARBARA, was supposed to be the Alexis of Daytime. Baloney, I wrote in an early column headlined "Outrageous" in Michael Logan’s old magazine, Soap Opera People. We already had the definitive Alexis of Daytime. Her name was Dorian Lord, and she’d already been played definitively from1979 by Robin Strasser on ONE LIFE TO LIVE." Constantine Maroulis to Star in 'Jesus Christ Superstar' Former B&B actor Constantine Maroulis stars as Judas in The Premier Theatre Company's upcoming presentation of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Jesus Christ Superstar" at The Henderson Theater in Lincroft opening Friday, June 13th and running through Saturday, June 28th.

News Brief

INTERVIEW: Y&R's Daniel Goddard From TV Guide Canada's Nelson Branco: "Finding fault with ‘Y&R’s Daniel Goddard is a seemingly impossible directive, but according to soaps’ most beautiful person alive (shame on you, People Magazine!) he insists he’s far from perfect. And if you believe that, I have some swamp land to sell you." AUDIO: Interview with Judith Chapman THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS star Judith Chapman (who has made the rounds on daytime starring on AS THE WORLD TURNS, DAYS OF OUR LIVES, GUIDING LIGHT, RYAN'S HOPE and ONE LIFE TO LIVE) stopped by "Buzzworthy Radio" last night to discuss her soap career and talk with fans. WHERE ARE THEY NOW: Lorraine Broderick and Felicia M. Behr University 101, written, staged and shot entirely by students in Drexel University's Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design. Only the actors are pros. It's set to premiere in September on DUTV, which reaches 360,000 homes in greater Philadelphia. 1 University 101 is above all a learning experience for the undergraduates, a regular class with full credit. Music industry students are doing the scoring, fashion design students the costumes, interior design students the sets. Students in the screenwriting and playwriting program made up the scripts. Six-time Emmy winner Lorraine Broderick, former head writer on DAYS OF OUR LIVES, AS THE WORLD TURNS, ALL MY CHILDREN and GUIDING LIGHT, was the professor. Now film and video students, under the direction of Felicia M. Behr, former ABC-TV senior vice president of daytime programming, are completing production of the show's five episodes. Charles Shaugnessy to star in here! film here!, America’s premium gay television network, is pleased to announce the network debut of the thrilling original production, Polar Opposites. Polar Opposites stars Charles Shaugnessy (ex-Shane, DAYS OF OUR LIVES) as Scientist David Terran. David has written bestsellers about the dangers of the Earth's magnetic fields, but his unconventional theories have made him a joke amongst his colleagues. Even his best friend, Martin (played by Ken Barnett), refuses to take David's scientific ideas seriously. Denied the respect he deserves, David gives up on his career and retreats to a remote cabin to live out his days alone with his father. INTERVIEW: Former Y&R and DH star Lyndsy Fonseca "I really don't know how I feel so comfortable playing a high school girl, because I never did go to high school and I never did have that experience. I feel like, just being young and being in a situation in that movie, where you're around a bunch of young kids, you just kind of feel like you're in school, because you're around everyone your age. Since I was little, I've played high school students. BOSTON PUBLIC was my first job where I played a high school student and pretty much every job after that. I guess, what you believe becomes real." PHOTOS: DAYS OF OUR LIVES basketball game The 19th Annual DAYS OF OUR LIVES Celebrity Basketball Game was held on May 30th. The event benefits the South Pasadena High School Boys Basketball Program as well as the Fremont Centre Theatre. BLOG UPDATE: Tom Casiello "There aren't enough adjectives, enough praise, enough mind-numbingly amazing synonyms in the world to describe how I feel about today's episode of ONE LIFE TO LIVE."

CELEBRITY PICTURE: BREE WILLIAMSON

Bree Williamson (born December 28, 1981 in Toronto, Canada) is a Canadian actress.

A graduate of the University of Toronto, she has been playing the role of Jessica Buchanan on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live since February 5, 2003.

According to the Internet Movie Database, Williamson had previously auditioned for a role on OLTL but was rejected because of her resemblance to actress Erin Torpey, who was playing Jessica Buchanan on the show at the time. When Torpey resigned in January 2003, Williamson was remembered by the casting department and offered the role of Jessica.[1]

On December 29, 2005 Williamson married Josh Evans.

In the September 2006 issue of ABC Soaps in Depth, Williamson revealed she just got her green card and proudly proclaimed, "Now you can't kick me out!".[2]
