Ten young hopefuls will go through weeks of auditions and drama at AS THE WORLD TURNS boot camp to fulfill their dreams of winning a role on the long-running series. Internet users can watch a new episode of INTURN on CBS.com on most Tuesdays and Thursdays, running from April 15 through June 10 at www.cbs.com/originals/inturn3. Full-length episodes and highlights clips from INTURN 3 will also be available across the vast CBS Audience Network, allowing a community of fans to watch the programs online and incorporate clips into their blogs, wikis, widgets and interact and discuss INTURN 3 on message boards. The CBS Audience Network consists of online partners such as AOL, Microsoft, CNET Networks, Comcast, Joost, Bebo, Netvibes, Sling Media and Veoh and social application partners including Automattic, Brightcove, Clearspring, DAVE Networks, Goowy Media, meebo, MeeVee, Musestorm, Ning, RockYou!, Slide, VideoEgg, Voxant and vSocial as well as Web sites from CBS's owned television, radio and affiliated stations. Each episode will be approximately five to 10 minutes long, with a total of 17 episodes. The series will follow the 10 participants as they move into a loft in Brooklyn, N.Y. and undergo a series of auditions, including screen tests, cold readings, improvisations and an "awkward elements" audition that will ultimately lead to seven contestants being voted out by a group of judges. The three remaining contestants will be written into the show as characters on AS THE WORLD TURNS. Viewers across America will then have a chance to vote online for their favorite (one of the three finalists), ultimately selecting the newest cast member on AS THE WORLD TURNS. AS THE WORLD TURNS actors involved include Dylan Bruce ("Chris Hughes"), (Van Hansis ("Luke Snyder"), Kelley Menighan Hensley ("Emily Stewart"), Michael Park ("Jack Snyder"), Colleen Zenk Pinter ("Barbara Ryan"), Marnie Schulenberg ("Alison Stewart") and Jake Silbermann ("Noah Mayer"). They will act as judges, participate in challenges or offer advice. But that doesn't mean we're stuck with the show's new artsy-fartsy, überjumpy format. 'I'm very pleased with some of it, and some of it needs to evolve,' says CBS Daytime boss Barbara Bloom. 'I agree that some of the camera work is shaky and frenetic and some of the close-ups are too tight — and that maybe we've broken rules that didn't need to be broken — but this is a work in progress. They'll work alongside community volunteers to help plant trees in the West End’s Laurel Park, on Friday morning from 8-11 a.m. The cast will be joined by Mayor Mark Mallory, Cincinnati Parks Foundation trustees, and Procter & Gamble, and the trees were donated by Mike Albert Leasing. Luke MacFarlane of BROTHERS & SISTERS comes out publicly as gay Canadian actor Luke MacFarlane, who plays the character of Scotty on Brothers & Sisters, has come out in an interview with the Canadian Globe and Mail. Regarding his decision to come out after years of speculation in the press regarding his sexuality, Macfarlane comments: "I don't know what will happen professionally ... that is the fear, but I guess I can't really be concerned about what will happen, because it's my truth. ... There is this desire in L.A. to wonder who you are and what's been blaring for me for the last three years is how can I be most authentic to myself - so this is the first time I am speaking about it in this way." In an upcoming episode of B&S, Scotty and Kevin (Matthew Rhys) are married, which MacFarlane feels is groundbreaking despite the obvious attention-getting nature of the soap's storyline: "How exciting that we're saying, 'This can be part of the cultural fabric, now,' because it is two series regulars, two people that you invite into your home and you see every week. It's telling of the beginning of more waves and I'm very proud of that."

Manhattanites Director to Appear on Buzzworthy Radio

Gregori J. Martin, who Directed my first full-length feature film, Manhattanites, will appear on "Buzzworthy Radio" tonight at 10pm ET. I wrote the screenplay with Gregori and my partner and I (who make up Loger Inc) served as the Executive Producers. The film is loosely based on the ongoing radio soap that I write and produce, SCRIPTS & SCRUPLES. Manhattanites will be screened in late May at the Tribeca Cinemas in New York City. Gregori will be bringing a "surprise guest" along with him for the interview. long-time soap star Tonja Walker will also be a guest on tonight's show. 1
