This Week on Y&R
1 This week on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS you can expect lots of developments at the charity gala and in the Chloe/Cane/Lily love triangle. I’ve included two main story arcs below, if you want to tease your readers about any of these events. * Jack publishes a damaging article about Sabrina’s past, causing conflict with Nick and Phyllis and threatening to tear up their partnership. (Wednesday, July 16) * A furious Victor confronts Jack about the damage to Sabrina’s reputation. (Thursday, July 17)
Evening News
Rauch in at Y&R? According to TV Guide's Michael Logan, Paul Rauch will be joining THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS as a Creative Consultant. Stay tuned! Shocker! HOLLYOAKS' Danny Valentine sacked HOLLYOAKS actor David Judge has been fired from the show for repeatedly turning up late. The actor, 24, who plays Danny Valentine, was told to leave last Thursday. "David Judge has left Hollyoaks due to persistent bad time-keeping," a spokesperson for the Channel 4 show tells the News of the World. Quote of the Day: TWT's Ewa da Cruz Ewa didn't make TV Guide Network's list of Soap's Sexiest Women, and was a glaring omission. Here's a classic quote for the Norwegian beauty: "At this point, no. But later on, who knows? Maybe I'll have five kids and suddenly my boobs are like floppy tea bags. Then I'll be like, 'Okay, we need to do something here.'" Alison Sweeney on SHEAR GENIUS DAYS star Sweeney appeared as a celebrity judge on the latest episode of Bravo's SHEAR GENIUS. Liveblogging ATWT: My Two Homophobic, Letter-Writing Dads Brian Juergens at AfterElton liveblogged today's 2pm ET showing of AS THE WORLD TURNS on CBS, even though a number of people watched the episode on CBS.com this morning before CBS realized their mistake and removed it. Jordana Brewster's Going Out with 'Chuck' Jordana Brewster (ex-Nikki, AS THE WORLD TURNS) has signed on for a multi-episode arc on NBC's CHUCK, playing a pivotal figure from the main character's past. BLOG UPDATE: Joe Diliberto "Robin's sudden change of heart during the visitation hearing on GENERAL HOSPITAL sure seemed to come out of nowhere. One minute she's girded for legal battle, and the next she's tearfully proclaiming that she Patrick and the baby will make a great family. Patrick got on the witness stand and laid out his standard position mdash; that he used to love life as a playboy, but now he's ready to grow up mdash; but for the first time Robin seemed to hear it. Sure, Patrick was more eloquent this time and didn't become frustrated with Robin's stubbornness, but his message didn't change. I suppose Robin could have been moved by the public declaration, but really, she seemed to overcome her recalcitrance out of the blue, and the change made her seem fickle and insincere. Was she really just plugging her ears and refusing to listen to the father of her child before now, or did she honestly believe he was unworthy? I'd like to believe she wanted the best for her baby, but her character was not portrayed in the best light. But maybe I'm just plain wrong — after all, Noah was...er, singing his praises, too."

According to the Times, the show is part of a "wave of new programs" that aims to "reinvigorate" HIV/AIDS outreach in the MSM community. The show, called IN THE MOMENT, is a "racy, unvarnished portrait" of MSM in Los Angeles, but "at its core" is about HIV/AIDS, the Times reports. The first episode was released in January and introduced the multicultural cast, including two characters named Mike and Steve who have unprotected sex. In the second episode, released in March, another character named Shawn "scores a date," while Steve discovers Mike cheated on him and moves out, the Times reports. According to the Times, advocates are "pushing" the show as a way to promote discussions about safer sex and relationships. Jordan's sister for HOLLYOAKS role? Look Out: Old Laura Is Back on GH Jennifer Kate blogs on the return of Genie Francis as Laura: "Although I am happy she’s working again, I still have mixed feelings about Luke and Laura. You can’t tape over the fact she said no. It’s not something that can’t be erased."
