Olivia Newton-John (who plays bisexual ex-con Bitsy Mae Harding) sings "None of My Business" on SORDID LIVES: THE SERIES.

AS THE CORN GROWS

1 AS THE CORN GROWS, a new soap opera, joins the OUR STORY lineup as the latest segment currently broadcasting on OUR STORY TV. Filmed at Heritage Acers and Our Story Studios in Fairmont Minnesota, AS THE CORN GROWS tells the story of a big-city girl (Urban Kati) who leaves behind her life to move to southern Minnesota after inheriting a farm from her aunt. Executive Producer Jeff Rouse says, “To the best of our knowledge AS THE CORN GROWS is the first TV soap opera about rural Minnesota life. The show has the tongue-in-check flavor like that of MARY HARTMAN, MARY HARTMAN and the cliff-hanging intrigue of GENERAL HOSPITAL! The zany cast of characters will expand episode by episode. Once you see the first corny episode you’ll be hooked!” OUR STORY now airs in 35 communities throughout southern Minnesota, as well as on the Internet at www.ourstorymn.com.

ATWT's Bruce Bumped To Recurring Status

1 Dylan Bruce, who has played Chris Hughes, son of Bob and Kim, on AS THE WORLD TURNS since last October, has been taken off contract. Chris is currently in the middle of a love triangle with Alison and Aaron, which has been one of the show's frontburner stories of late. First, Alison sued Chris for sexual harrassment, but lost the case due to Chris lying on the stand. But later, when Rick Decker was poisoning half the town with tainted jewelry (don't ask), Chris found the antidote and saved Alison and the other victimes. You get the sense that she and Chris are going to reunite, even though she feels a sense of loyalty and friendship to Aaron. No word on how Bruce's change in status will impact the story. Bruce will continue to appear on the show on a recurring basis.
