How has your favorite daytime show changed your life?

"Late Breaking" news from ABC Daytime: "How has your favorite Daytime Show changed your life?" This is the burning question the producers of "The 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards" would like viewers to answer for the upcoming awards ceremony, live on ABC. Through internet (e-mail and website) submissions, viewers can send their personal stories of how their favorite network or cable daytime shows - drama, talk, court or children's - have had a significant impact in their lives, whether through characters, story or a particular show host(s). Select stories will be showcased during the live broadcast. Beginning today, a submission of 250 words or less should be sent via ABC.com and the all-new SOAPnet.com. The deadline is 6:00 p.m., Pacific Time on May 23, 2008. See ABC.com and SOAPnet.com for additional details. "The 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards" will be broadcast live on ABC FRIDAY, JUNE 20 from Hollywood's famed Kodak Theatre at 8:00 p.m., ET/PT (West coast tape delay). This year marks the third time in the ceremony's history the Daytime Emmy broadcast will be presented from Hollywood. White Cherry Entertainment will produce the show, with Ricky Kirshner and Glenn Weiss serving as executive producers. Talk show host Regis Philbin ("Live with Regis & Kelly") will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award during the ceremony. Presenters, performers and special guest stars will be announced in the coming weeks. The awards recognize outstanding achievement in all fields of daytime television production and are presented to individuals and programs broadcast from 2:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the 2007 calendar year. "The 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards" is a presentation of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
