Steve and Betsy's Daughter Returns to Oakdale

1 Deirdre Skiles has joined the cast of AS THE WORLD TURNS as Dani Andopolous, the daughter of Steve Andropolous and Betsy Stewart, one of the all-time classic couples in all of daytime. Dani was born in October 1983 and, for a period of time, Craig Montgomery let Betsy think he was her father. It was later revealed that Steve fathered Betsy and Steve and Betsy wed, in one of the highest rated daytime episodes ever. With her return to Oakdale, how will she deal with her Aunt Emily? Dani (short for Danielle) was previously played by: * Joshua Dalin - October 1983 * Colleen Broomall - November 1983 to 1989, 1991 (Recent WLS interview) * Kristianna Loken - 1994 * Ashley Williams - 1994 to December 1996 Skiles, 23, is originally from Pleasant Ridge, Michigan. She attended Rutgers University and appeared in the RyderWorks film, Lake Wonderful.
